Learning sessions

Break Times

The school grounds are open to students from 8:30 am each morning and close at 3:10 pm each afternoon.

Every child should be with in school grounds by 8:45am which is when Kea crossing finishes

Students need to be in the classroom and ready to start school by 8:50am.

Session 1 9am – 11.00am

Session 2 11.30am – 12.45pm

Session 3 1.30pm – 03.00pm

Morning Tea 11:10 – 11:30am

Lunch 12:45 – 1:30pm with children sitting down to sit at 1:15 pm.

Bells

A bell is rung at the start of each learning session 8:55am, 11:30am and 1:30pm.

We have three learning spaces at KMS. Pūkeko are our Year 0 - 2 learners, Pīwakawaka are our Year 2 -4 learners and Kāhu are our Year 5 and 6 learners. Click link below to see what's been happening in these spaces.
